This year i had the honor of having my S13 on display at the 2012 Montreal international auto show that took place at the Palais de congres in downtown Montreal between January 13th and 22nd, 2012. For the event, we decided to do something really special to update the look of the car for the coming year, so i gave a quick call to Cedric from Widened to give me a hand in getting a viniyl design drawn up. Cedric was the one responsible the vinyl design on the 2011 Dmcc champion's s13, Miro Ovcharik, so i knew he'd have some rad ideas for my 240.
After a few days of throwing ideas back and forth, he came up with this design...
 I immediatly fell in love, so we decided to go with it. Now since it's winter here in canada and the s13 is stored in a garage with very limited space, we decided that we'd do the vinyl job at the auto show. The car got the venue on the 9th, and the vinyls were ready on the 10th, so that meant we only had 1 day to get the job done, because the show was opening to media on the 12th. It's gotten pretty normal for us to always wait to the last minute to get our cars ready for a show or race, so why change our tradition now :-P
On wednesday the 11th, Cedric, Kevin D. & myself got to the Palais de congrès at about 5pm, so we only had a few hours to get the car all vinyled up and ready for opening day.
After 10 long hours, i present to you the finished product...
I'm very happy with the end result, it actully turned out really nice, and we got a whole lot of good feedback from the visitors at the show.
I would like to give a big shout out to everyone who helped me get the car ready for the auto salon, first and formost, my girlfriend Melanie who helped me out with painting the wheels, Cedric from Widened for the vinyl job, Kevin Darwish for helping with the vinyl installation and of course my sponsors for supporting me, AvFabrication, Standard Suspension, Rage liquid energy & Jag Imaging.
