July 4th, 2010 - The Mirabel Grand Prix was held this past week-end at Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, QC. During the week-end there were many different series that were competing, and amongst the racers that week-end, Team OverDosed very own Pascal Bastien was there competing in the GT4 Class with his K-Powered EK Hatch. Pascal managed a first place finish in his class that weekend.

June 28th, 2010 - A rather dark & rainy JDM Meet we had this week... not many people came out due to the extreme weather we were having all day, however die hard Team members and customers alike came out anyway and it ended up being a nice night in the end. BIG THANKS to JagImaging for coming out in the rainy weather to cover the meet for Burn-out.ca!!

June 21th, 2010 - After a crazy weekend in Montmagny for Round 2 of DMCC with the whole Team, we decided to stay true to our customers, and still have our JDM Meet on Monday night. June 20th, 2010 - The second round of the DMCC Championship took place last weekend at the Autodrome Montmagny, which is located about 45 minutes east of Québec City. On saturday, june 19th, there was the PRO-AM Competition, aswell as the PRO practices, and then on sunday, there was the PRO competition. The day started out pretty bad with rain almost throughout the morning practice runs. The rain finally let off once the Qualification runs started, and our very own Marc Landreville managed a sixth place qualification run, and was heading up against Mats Baribeau in the Top16. Marc came out on top after the two tandem runs, and was then going up against BFGoodrich driver Carl Nadeau in the Top8. After two incredible runs by both drivers, Marc's aggressive driving style led him into the next round. In the top4, Marc was going head to head with XDC (Formula D PRO-AM) Champ Dave Briggs. I think we can say that the tandem runs between Marc Landreville & Dave Briggs must have been the most intense head to head runs that have ever taken place at any DMCC event in Montmagny, however due to Dave's "over" aggressive drifting style, and maybe a little too much speed, he ran straight into the side of Marc's Pink S14 and pushed him right off the track on the last bank before the finish line. Due to the contact, Dave was eliminated, and would be heading against Matt "The Wolf" Waldin (last years DMCC Champ) for a tight battle for 3rd & 4th place, however Dave was unable to overpower the wolf's 350z and had to settle for a 4th place finish. For the final battle of the day, Marc Landreville & Pat Cyr lined up side by side and after two intense tandem runs, Pat Cyr was crowned king for the Round 2 of DMCC.

So far, in the series standings, OverDosed Performance sponsored driver Marc Landreville is still on top with 198 points, followed by Matt "The Wolf" Waldin, also sponsored by OverDosed Performance is in 2nd place with 179 points, and Pat Cyr in 3rd with 172 points.

Next Round will be taking place on July 17th & 18th @ Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, QC. See you there ;)

In the Show n' Shine that took place during Round 2 on Sunday, Team OverDosed's own Paul Belcarz took home the "Best Engine" award for his crazy clean J32 engine swap in his white 1993 Honda Accord CB7.

June 9th, 2010 - In the summer of 2009, Team OverDosed had been approched by show producer Jason Pinto to take part in a show called "The Underground". The Underground is a show about the tuning scene in North America. Every episode, show hosts Jay and Christina will travel to a different state or province to showcase enthusiasts and racers who "keep it on the track". As long as there's a vehicle with passionate people modifying, The Underground will follow.

Whether you're a true gearhead-- or just a casual drivers curious about the world of automotive tuning-- this show is for you. The Underground is for both men and women of all ages with the underlying message to "keep it off the streets and bring it on the track".
